Thirteen years after the state of Israel was established, Israel's Aviation Hotel was opened in 1961 close to the Ben-Gurion International Airport. The Avia hotel was very popular among foreign business tourists and airline crews for its unique location. Aside of being an attractive hotel for tourists of all kinds, the hotel was also recognized as the gathering place for the Israeli high society who seeked the international atmosphere the hotel could offer.
The Avia Hotel had good and bad times along the years until it was taken by seriuos business people with many years of experience in the hospitality and dining. The 4-storeys hotel with its 100 rooms was renovated and reopened on 2013.
Today the hotel offer its guests superior business rooms along with standard rooms, with or without balconies and event halls.
